Located in Narita, Chiba, the aviation hub handles international passenger traffic between Tokyo, Japan and the rest of the world, including destinations in Asia and the Americas. It functions as a base for passenger and cargo airlines, including Vanilla Air, All Nippon Airways, Peach, United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Jetstar Japan, Nippon Cargo Airlines and Japan Airlines. Based on passenger count, the Narita International Airport is Japan’s 2nd busiest airport, but it is ranked number one in terms of air freight traffic. Classified as a first- class airport, it features three terminals, cargo services and helicopter services.
